Miansai: We’re Hooked

May 14th, 2012 in: Neighborhood, New Arrivals

A recent visit to Red Hook sparked a nautical nostalgia; Miansai is the perfect accessory to fulfill your seafarer prep look. New York bred, self-taught designer and founder of Miansai, Michael Andrew Saiger draws inspiration from childhood memories of New England beaches and his mother’s passion for antiques. Having acquired a taste for authenticity, each bracelet is hand-made in his Miami-based studio with salvaged machinery, military grade rope and Italian leather. Check out our new stock of Miansai bracelets along with a few photos of our favorite places on the Brooklyn waterfront.

Look no further for bold and bright stripes for summer.

Edith A. Miller has it all!

Designed by Jennifer Murray and Nancy Gibson, Edith A. Miller is produced by one of the few remaining historic American knitting mills, Robert P. Miller. With 6 generations of continuous family operation behind it, Edith A. Miller is produced in the same factory that has been in existence for over 100 years in eastern Pennsylvania. Influenced by the mill’s historic military thermals, the line features a lighter hand and playful styles for women.

Find the spring/summer collection here or at any of our three locations.
