Last week we gathered up a ton of new fall clothes, eight of our favorite Brooklyn couples (3 newlywed!) and headed over to the grand former school and Williamsburg photography studio of Chilean photographer Rodrigo Pereda. When I wasn’t wandering the halls snapping pics of the crumbling theater and stairwells, I captured America’s next top models in action hamming it up on the set. Musicians Nancy Whang and Nick Millhiser showed off their dance moves. Pilates guru Marina Trejo struck a pose in an Alexander Wang body-con dress. Musician James Elliott and vintage jewelry dealer Sarah Welsh kept it cool in all-black. DJ Justine D(elaney) glittered in gold from Rachel Comey and Suno.  Designing duo Jeff Halmos and Lisa Mayock were ever-chic in their own designs as were our most acrobatic couple Sam Shipley and Allison Sires. Musician/Comedian/DJ Jay Green and fashion historian Emma Kadar-Penner accessorized to the max, while musician Ben Lanz and professor Sonya Hofer Lanz brought the best accessory of them all, baby Arrow Supernova Lanz!  Big thanks to everyone involved in the production of our first (literally) love-filled lookbook.
