Bird loves LCD Soundsystem and we were so excited to finally see  their new movie, Shut Up and Play the Hits, last night!  Going to a premiere is always super exciting because there is a red carpet and photographers and you can just act casual and try not to stare at Anne Hathaway as you examine her cute outfit.  Also, we think it’s funny to listen to the PR ladies freak on the photogs, as one did last night when no one was paying attention to Aziz Ansari on the step and repeat. Hellooooooo!

The film is a touching and rocking tribute to an awesome band that says goodbye in the coolest way possible: by throwing the best party that any of us had ever been to,  a party that happened to be a sold out, 3 set show at MSG. No big D.  The film was almost as exciting as being at the show – no joke – and the after was more super-fun-party-time with an awesome set by DJ Matt Cash.  Our night ended with pizza – just like an old-school rock and roll night of the days of yore.

If you a an LCD fan or just a music fan – it’s a must see!  Coming July 18th for one night only to a theater near you!
