I cannot say enough good things about this city!   Really one of my favorite places on Earth.  The architecture is a fascinating mix of European and modern and everything is well worn around the edges, very comfortable and not too precious.  The people are the most generous and most beautiful you will find anywhere.  The dreamiest hotel in all the world is the Home Hotel in Palermo Hollywood.
